We all face hardships in our lives. May it be our personal life or professional, we hardly are able to find any explanations to these queries, is there any one who can convincingly give a reason, why there is so much suffering for us and people around? Do we know why we suffer or why people suffer?
We live in a modern century but many people believe that it is because of “Karma”. Karma is the actions of our past lives we lived, and due to our prejudices of past lives we face consequence or actions in present life! Though Karma is being widely accepted by people around the world, which is quite logical as some people suffer with making no fault, they are often born into very poor families and some are even deformed and crippled. It is believed that they are been punished of something they did bad in their previous life. Well I won’t lie but even I believed until I saw other face of the coin.
Today science also believes in humans past lives and Karma theory, but many still believes that human never had any past life so there is no past life regression in present life! Past life regression or Karma can prove to be true in individual cases but can it prove to be correct for the example I am going to state below.
Like in some third world countries majority of people are extremely poor, they do not have food to eat, clothes to wear and roof to live under, as a result the children there suffer from hardships of lives from the very beginning, they are often sick, starve, live in poor condition throughout lifetime, actually they have no future to live. Does it mean, all those children were bad in their past lives, and hence they are adversely affected in present life, and on the other hand children in developed nation are born in well to do families, they have better lifestyle, they enjoy better health and experience more benefits than those living in poor countries. Does it means children born in well to do families in a developed nation, all were better human in their past lives?
Is it reasonable enough to believe in past life? If we blindfoldedly believe in Karma then it will leave us in concluding that all people living in developed nations, who lead a better life, were better human beings in past lives than those who are living in poor countries, are suffering for something they did bad in their past lives, resulting in such adverse affect in present life.
Then what would give us a proper explanation to this matter. Is there any way to know the truth?
